Shohrukh Umirzokov is an experienced attorney and professional mediator specializing in administrative and criminal matters, as well as economic and civil disputes. He has extensive practical experience in resolving complex legal conflicts, protecting clients’ interests both in and out of court, and providing comprehensive legal support to businesses.
Shohrukh Umirzokov has successfully participated in numerous cases involving international arbitration and the recognition and enforcement of foreign court judgments in Uzbekistan. This experience is particularly valuable for foreign investors and companies engaged in cross-border activities.
In addition, as a mediator, he has successfully facilitated the pre-trial resolution of numerous disputes and has substantial experience representing clients in arbitration and commercial tribunals. He also provides legal assistance in administrative offense and criminal liability matters.
He is highly skilled in providing comprehensive legal support to businesses, including licensing, cross-border insolvency, as well as projects in the oil and gas, energy, and construction sectors, along with other matters of private international law.
He began his professional career in government institutions, particularly within the transport prosecutor’s office, where he gained substantial expertise in the transport sector, including infrastructure development, contractual regulation, and application of INCOTERMS rules.
Following his work in the prosecutor’s office, he continued his career in legal practice, quickly building strong practical experience and earning the trust of clients. He is currently the co-founder and Managing Partner of Capstone & Legal Partners, while also actively engaged in academia. He teaches at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, contributing to the education of future legal professionals.
He graduated from the Faculty of International Law of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and obtained a Master’s degree in International Business and Corporate Law through a joint program of Rome Business School (Italy) and Universidad Internacional de Valencia (Spain).
